The current issue of New Zealand Mountain Biker magazine has a trip Zack Stones, Grant Stirling (photographer and writer) and I did back in August of this year. Browning Hut is always a favourite Nelson ride whether it is an overnight or a quick day trip.

Getting into the backcountry with kids is always a positive experience especially if the trip is focused on the fun factor. Grab yourself a cuppa and have a read over here for the online version or printed mag at your local book shop. Below are a few Grant Stirling bonus images from the trip. Massive thanks to all my sponsors and especially and for helping make this trip happen.

Great way to start the trip was Sublime Coffee Roasters Haven Road Cafe Cheers guys

Cheers to Yakima's holdup+2 for getting our bikes safely to and from the trailhead

The jetboil minimo cranked out the coffees and hot water for the Chili Con Carne and Wilderness Stew  Absolute wilderness freeze dried food

Grant Stirling did an amazing job on these night shots of the Browning Hut. Thanks to for lighting our way.

Can't get better than this! Go Zack!
